Position Overview:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lacrosse Assistant Coach. The ideal candidate will assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the lacrosse program, focusing on player development, strategic planning, and fostering a positive team culture.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head Coach in planning and conducting team practices, drills, and training sessions.
• Provide individualized coaching and feedback to players to enhance their skills and performance.
• Assist in developing game strategies and tactics to maximize team success.
• Attend and actively participate in all team meetings, practices, games, and events.
• Collaborate with coaching staff to organize team travel, equipment management, and other logistical aspects of the program.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment that promotes sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.
• Support the Head Coach in recruiting and retaining talented student-athletes for the program.
• Uphold the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and sportsmanship on and off the field.

Qualifications:

• Previous coaching experience in lacrosse at the high school, collegiate, or club level is preferred.
• Deep knowledge of lacrosse rules, techniques, and strategies.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire athletes.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a coaching team.
• Commitment to the academic and personal development of student-athletes.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for games and tournaments.
• CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
